Elektra has a degree of realism which was brilliantly exploited by The Actors of Dionysus…their pace was finely judged..with David Stuttard producing a fine prose version. Orestes was portrayed with great subtlety by Mark Blythe…Tamsin Shasha gave a truly memorable performance, playing with an embittered intensity which held the audience spellbound.
